  This was a great place to experience real Newfoundland hospitality. We had a lobster and a moose sandwich, and they were both divine. Ted, the chef took us out to the docks and we got to pick our lobster which was quite the experience. Our cabin faced the bay and we saw small icebergs floating across close enough to touch. We'll be back for a longer stay next time.

  They put a good deal of care and effort - and some obvious talent - into the meals. We had cod with herbs and their excellent mashed potato (the secret is the use of smoked paprika I believe) and mooseburger. Delicious, moist, and with a tangy bbq-like sauce - not at all gamey. The resto closes up at 9pm - so please don't show up past 8:15pm as there is a good chance you won't be seated since the timing will be too tight. (Summer hours 8am - 9pm)
